Çağla Çağlar (1990, Istanbul) has pursued her education in the field of photography, a profession passed down through her family. After completing her high school education, she continued her academic studies in this field and worked as a director on film and advertisement sets for approximately 10 years. In addition to shooting posters and teasers for theater plays, she has filmed many music videos for various artists. She has also collaborated with artists to create artworks.

Narrativity takes the forefront in all her works. The artist concretizes the narrative structure using a cinematographic language, employing all the arguments offered by cinema in terms of light, motion, and mise-en-scène. In her works, she explores inner journeys and emotional states through the human body.
