Yusuf Günler graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Photography. His work consists of photography, photographic printing and painting techniques. His areas of focus are reality, photographic realism, image representation, stage and theatre production. In the process from photography to pictoriality, the artist makes additions or subtractions on the photograph, reconstructing the images that appear in his mind on the photographic print and creating a new image representation. He views his productions as a collection of images appearing on a stage.

The works in this series were made with gum bichromate printing technique. When the artist takes the concept of theater as a process of acting played out in the mind, he regards theater as a process reflected on the stage. He designs the images of the theater built atop a fictionality as a process that is separated from the play and the stage, and reflected on paper. In this series of works, in which he aims to reflect the image on the surface in a pure and solitary way, he plans to create a new imaginative reading gap.
