Yalçın Yeşiltepe
In his work, Yeşiltepe focuses on creating multiple discourses through ceramic material and expanding the boundaries of material through space, form, texture and depth. The contrasts that he applies consciously or experimentally from time to time constitute the whole that complement each other in the series, and occasionally they are expressed in simple parts that are independent of each other.
Forms that constantly evolve and transform due to formal contrasts and deformation aim to create an emotional and tactile connection between each piece and the viewer by giving birth to different feelings and characters.
Yalçın Yeşiltepe (b. 1998, Istanbul), graduated from the Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass in 2020 and minored in Interior Architecture. The artist continues his work in his studio in Istanbul. He continues his career with exhibitions in Istanbul and Europe.
